What is Dichroic Glass?  Dichroic Glass displays more than one color as it is viewed from different angles creating a fiery iridescence.  Thin layers of metallic oxides such as Titanium, Silicon and Magnesium, are deposited on the surface of the glass in a high-temperature vacuum furnace (a special type of kiln).  The resulting colors are determined by individual oxide compositions.  Because of the unique color changing properties of Dichroic Glass, the look of these products are difficult to capture on film.  Dichroic Glass is Hand Made and vary is size, shape and color.  Once a piece of Dichroic Glass is created, it is impossible to duplicate, making each piece individual in it's beauty and appearance.
